PURPOSE:To provide a press device which prevents expansion and shrinkage owing to a change in temp. and stabilizes and maintains the accuracy in a bottom dead point position by providing grooves or holes in the eccentric shaft, connecting rod and bearings of a press, and passing a temp. adjusting medium in the grooves or holes. CONSTITUTION:Bearings 4, 5 provided with grooves 2a, 3a or holes in the parts that contact with the outer rings of bearings 2, 3 are held in a press frame. A through-hole 6a is provided to the axial center of an eccentric shaft 6 held in the bearings 4, 5 and a groove 6b is provided in the part in contact with the inner rings of the bearings 3, 4, 7. A groove 8a is provided in the part, in contact with the outer ring of the bearing 7, of a connecting rod 8 held to the shaft 6. Hot water is supplied through the grooves 2a, 3a, 6b, 8a or the hole 6a in the stage of starting the press. When the specified temp. is attained, the hot water is changed to cooling water to control the change in the temp. The accuracy in the bottom dead point position is thus maintained in a stable state. |
