PURPOSE:To allow interactive processing between an operator and a user program at an optional point of time by providing an interruption control means, storage part stored with the cause of an interruption, and information control means which identifies the cause of the interruption and informs the user program of it. CONSTITUTION:When the operator hits an entry or interruption key, an interruption control part 2 accepts the interruption by the entry key. At the same time, the storage part 3 is stored with information on the cause of the interruption. Then, the information control part 4 receives the cause of the interruption from the storage part 3 at a necessary point of time and identifies the cause of the interruption from the information to report the cause of the interruption to the user program 5 by using a code for selecting one of codes corresponding to keys. The user program stops or changes an output screen into the last or next screen according to the code.
