PURPOSE:To have adjustment of the rate of injection as well as the ignition timing using simple construction by furnishing a sleeve between the body of this unit injector and a plunger in such a way as rotatable and axially slidable, and thereby allowing the sleeve to make vertical and rotational motion. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 3 is installed between the body 1 of this unit injector and a plunger 2 in such a way as rotatable and slidable in the axial direction. Moving this sleeve 3 upwared will quicken the timing when the bottom 12 of the plunger 2 shuts a feed port 10, whereby the injection timing becomes earier. Moving the sleeve 3 downward will delay the injection timing. Adjustment of the rate of injection is accomplished by turning this sleeve 3, that will change the distance of a lead 11 from the bottom 12 of plunger 2. |
