PURPOSE:To make the convex distribution of the temperature rise of the primary winding along the laminating direction of the stator core uniform efficiently by a method wherein split wedges are introduced to fix a stator primary winding instead of a solid wedge fixed in a slot of a stator core and the split wedges are positioned with uneven intervals along the laminating direction of the stator core. CONSTITUTION:Slot insulators such as polyimide films are inserted into stator slots provided to a stator core with a certain interval so as to wrap primary windings and then the insulators and the windings are fixed by wedges 14. The wedge 14 is made of an insulation material such as a laminated epoxy glass board, a phenol resin board or a polyimide resin board and is split into five pieces which are inserted into the stator slot. The split wedges 14 are positioned along the laminating direction of the stator core with uneven intervals li (l1not equal to l2not equal to l3not equal to l4). The interval l3 between the wedges positioned close to the center of the lamination of the stator core is designed to be the largest of all other intervals. |
