A set of adjustable blades (5) is accommodated in a frame, and the blades can be adjusted to different angles of inclination w.r.t. the vertical direction of movement of the frame. This produces an overcut to suit different plank feed speeds. The frame also has upper and lower slide blocks (8, 9) movable along vertical guides (7), and is entirely adjustable to different angles of inclination. This adjustment is facilitated by links (12) fitted between the upper stretch beam and the corresp. slide blocks (8). |
