PURPOSE:To attain transmission and reception with small fluctuation in a response time and malfunction by indicating the type of a function signal transmitted afterward by the pulse width of a signal used for transmission and reception. CONSTITUTION:The width of a start signal S is changed in a pulse train signal and the information of bit length of a function signal F is added. That is, when the bit length of the signal F is small, the width of the signal S is made broad, and when it is long, the pulse width is narrowered. Thus, the number of bit of the signal F is increased, and even if the time occupying the signal is increased, the pulse width of the signal S is short, then the number of bit of the signal F is small and the fluctuation of the response time from the start of transmission to the end of reception, is small. Further, since the number of bit of the signal F is noticed in advance by counting the width of the signal S, the probability of mutual malfunction is reduced even if the 4-bit and 6-bit systems exist together. |
