摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a lamination type photosensitive body having high photosensitivity and improved durability by providing an electric charge transfer layer contg. an org. charge transfer material on a conductive substrate, providing an electric charge generating layer contg. an org. charge generating material by vapor deposition or sputtering thereon and further providing a coating layer deposited and formed by a vapor phase method thereon, thereby constituting the photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:The charge transfer layer 2 contg. the org. charge transfer material, the charge generating layer 3 contg. the org. charge generating material formed by the vapor deposition or sputtering method and the coating layer 4 deposited and formed by the vapor phase method are successively laminated on the conductive substrate 1 to constitute the photosensitive body. The coating layer 4 has the function to receive and hold the charge of corona discharge in a dark place and is required to allow the transmission of light so as to arrive at the charge generating layer when irradiated with the light sensed by the charge generating material of the charge generating layer and to neutralize and annihilate the surface charge by receiving the injection of the generated charge. The film thickness at which the surface characteristic can be uniformly changed is preferable and is 0.01-2mum, more preferably <=0.5mum.
