PURPOSE:To enable the sizes and shapes of an electric fan body and a support member therefor to be compact, by supporting the electric fan body, rotatably in the vertically tilting direction, to the support member at the lower section of a motor part so that the space between the lower surface of the motor part and the support member is made small. CONSTITUTION:An electric fan body 31 is supported, rotatably in the vertically tilting direction, to a support member 39 at the lower section of a motor part 42 in the body 31, that is, the lower surface part of a motor 42 or the lower surface part of a rear cover 38. In this case, the electric fan body 31 in which the support member 39 has a width W, the distance between the front face of the motor 42 to a pivotal shaft 40 is set to H, and the angles in the upward and downward tilting directions are alpha deg, and beta deg., respectively, has a space (1) between the lower surface of the rear cover 48 and the upper surface of the support member 39 as shown in the drawing, which is small in comparison with those in conventional electric fans. Accordingly, the support member may become compact, and therefore, the electric fan body 31 may be also made compact. |
