PURPOSE:The titled inexpensive resin excellent in weather resistance and abrasion resistance, obtained by adding atactic polypropylene to ethylene/propylene rubber, copolymerizing the mixture with an aromatic vinyl compound, etc., and adding an antioxidant, etc., to the copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A binary or ternary graft copolymer is prepared by graft-copolymerizing a rubber composition comprising at least 50wt% ethylene/propylene rubber and at most 50wt% atactic polypropylene with an aromatic vinyl compound (e.g., styrene or 2-methylstyrene) or with both an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyanide compound (e.g., acrylonitrile). The obtained copolymer is mixed with an antioxidant (e.g., phenolic antioxidant), and/or an ultraviolet absorber (e.g., benzophenone ultraviolet absorber) to obtain the purpose thermoplastic resin composition.
