A float-type flow-rate meter with a replaceable measuring tube (4) has two brackets (2, 3) between which the measuring tube (4) can be clamped by means of a lift ring (12). This lift ring (12) supports the foot of the measuring tube (4) and is mounted with the aid of a guide pin in the lower bracket (2) in a manner capable of rotation about the longitudinal axis of the measuring tube (4). This lift ring (12) is supported on support surfaces (17) of the lower bracket (2), the inclined faces (16) merging into a horizontal surface section in order to form the clamping point. The lift ring (12) has a particularly compact design. <IMAGE>
