PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the working efficiency and to save labors by a construction in which the supply of varnish and the cleaning of a varnish vessel are performed selectively by an operation of a pump and the switching of valves. CONSTITUTION:During varnish coating operation, varnish 35 in a varnish tank 33 is pumped up by a pump 41 and supplied to a varnish vessel 26 through a supply hose 59, while an overflow is returned to the varnish tank 33 through an overflow hose 65 and a discharge hose 61. When a cleaning operation is conducted, a valve 64 is opened to return the whole of the varnish 27 in the varnish vessel 26 to the varnish tank 33, and thereafter a pump 42 is rotated while valves 50 and 56 are opened. Thereby cleaning water 37 is pumped up by the pump 42 and led to nozzles 49 and 53 through pipings 51 and 57, and the water employed for cleaning rollers is discharged to a drain ditch through hoses 58 and 52a. When a solenoid valve 60 is switched to the pump 42 side and a solenoid valve 63 to the drain hose 62 side, the cleaning water 37 is supplied to the varnish vessel 26 for cleaning the inside thereof through the supply hose 59, and the water after the cleaning is drained through the discharge hose 61 and the drain hose 62. |
