PURPOSE:To perform macro focusing right after switching from a zoom mode to a macro mode without shifting a hand in position by turning a cam cylinder in a zoom area and engaging a macro operation ring with the cam cylinder, and turning the cam cylinder in a macro area as the macro operation ring is turned in the engagement state. CONSTITUTION:As an operation ring 2 is slid along an optical axis, a moving cylinder 14 is moved along the optical axis and the cam cylinder 30 is turned in the zoom area. When macro focusing is performed, the operation ring 2 is moved forth as much as possible for zooming to a maximum telephoto side, and then the macro operation ring 4 is turned around the optical axis with a macro button 40 pressed. Consequently, the cam cylinder 30 is turned in the macro area according to the turning of the macro operation ring 4, and the 2nd lens group L2 is moved along the optical axis to attain the macro focusing. |
