Plug-in connectors for optical fibres having electrical interfaces

In the embodiment according to the invention of plug-in connectors for optical fibres having electrical interfaces, the plug-in contacts are rigidly attached to the optical fibre. The plug-in contacts are connected to a plug housing in which there is located in each case a hybrid circuit embodied on a substrate and fitted with semiconductor components. This hybrid circuit is constructed at one end of the optical fibre as an electrically/optically converting transmitting device, and at the other end of the optical fibre as an optically/electrically converting receiving device. Exclusively electrical signals are switched via the plug-in connector. The plug-in connector is embodied as a multiple contact, and so apart from the signal line the power supply for the hybrid circuit located in the plug housing is also fed.
