摘要 PURPOSE:To improve considerably the positioning precision of a power plate by engaging a locking member which controls the engagement between a sector gear and a driving gear with the power plate, and locking directly the power plate by the locking member. CONSTITUTION:The power plate 10 is arranged in a free reciprocating state and a roller-shaped cam follower 11 provided on the reverse surface of its front part is energized by a movement start spring to be pressed against the outer circumference of the driving cam 9. When the power plate 10 is locked, a sucking plunger 15 is turned on to suck the locking member 12 through a sucking piece 16 fitted to the locking member 12. Therefore, the engagement member 12a atop of the lock member engages the step part 10a of the power plate 10, which is locked at the inner part of a tape player against the force of the movement start spring. At this time, the notch part 3 of the intermittent gear 2 still faces the driving gear 1 and the driving force from the driving gear 1 is not transmitted to the sector gear 2, so neither the sector gear 2 nor the driving cam 9 united with it rotates and the power plate 10 is also at a still.
