STEREOSCOPIC DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain color change in a case where shutter glasses are inclined to a display screen despite a simple configuration.

SOLUTION: The stereoscopic display device includes: shutter glasses 2 configured to open/close a left-eye shutter 2L and right-eye shutter 2R according to the display state of an image to be displayed on a display part 11; and a display side polarizer 12 arranged on the display screen side of the display part 11. Each of the left-eye shutter 2L and right-eye shutter 2R includes: a liquid crystal cell 20; a retardation plate 22 arranged on the display part side of the liquid crystal cell 20; and a first glasses-side polarizer 21 arranged on the liquid crystal cell 20 and opposite the side where the retardation plate 22 is provided. The polarization axis of the display side polarizer 12 and the polarizer axis of the first glasses-side polarizer 21 are made orthogonal to each other, and the polarizer axis of the display side polarizer 12 and the retardation axis of the retardation plate 22 are made parallel or orthogonal to each other.
