PURPOSE:To use a sound and a video head in common by FM-modulating a sound signal, recording the signal by a head of a prescribed width, and recording a video signal on a sound signal track superimposingly with a head having a large track width at the out-band of the frequency of the sound signal. CONSTITUTION:Switches SV, SA are connected respectively to a recording terminal R at recording. L and R channel sound signals inputted to terminals 3L, 3R are FM-modulated, mixed at a mixer 5, applied to a sound coil 2A of rotary heads 11, 12 via the switch SA and recorded on each track of a magnetic tape 6 with an azimuth. A color video signal at a terminal 7 is separated by a chrominance signal recording circuit 8 and a luminance signal recording circuit 9, and while the chrominance signal is converted into a low frequency, the luminance signal is FM-modulated. These signals are mixed by a mixing circuit 10, applied to a video coil 2V via the switch SV and recorded superimposingly on the sound signal on a tape 6 with an azimuth. |
