The torch is fed with liquified gas, and can be used upside-down without affecting its normal operation. The gas container 1 of this torch has the inside of its body filled with cotton balls or other similar material (such as sponges ...) having high absorbing capacity. The body is furnished with a gas valve 2 and a pressure reducing valve 3 which is longer in length than the former. Upon being operated for welding purposes, the liquid inside the torch body does not flow because of the liquid being almost completely absorbed by the cotton balls; therefore, what is supplied is a gas vaporized from the liquid, being burnt completely.
