PURPOSE:To prevent compression of oil, by releasing oil existing at the outer peripheral portion of the end plate of a revolving scroll into a back-pressure chamber or a recess formed in a frame. CONSTITUTION:A groove 7a is formed circumferentially in the surface of a recess 4a of a frame 4 opposing the end plate 1a of a revolving scroll 1. Through provision of such a groove 7a, oil can be released via the groove 7a even in case that the end plate 1a of the revolving scroll 1 comes close to the frame 4, so that compression of oil is prevented and the driving force can be decreased. |
