摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a radiation type heating tube of lesser heat loss, which is free of flexion and deformation, without the need to improve a heating furnace by inserting a spacer made of a refractory having excellent hot strength into the tube in the furnace wall and supporter of the radiation type heating tube to be used in the heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:An annular ceramic spacer 5 composed primarily of a refractory having excellent hot strength, e.g., silicon carbide SiC or silicon nitride Si3N4, is inserted into the tube in a metal hanging tool 2 as the furnace wall 4 and supporter of a heating tube 1. In the inserting operation, the space of an integrally annular form, divided annular form, etc., having a length (l) of 50-100mm., may be inserted in a plural number at an interval of 30-60mm.. When divided spaces of a length L1 and used, the total length of the lengths (l) of the spacers is preferably 10-20% longer than the distance L between the furnace wall and the supporter or the supporters.
