PURPOSE:To improve the function of automation by providing, an additional pair of M-and W-shaped folding tools engaging with each other in the opposite direction at a prescribed interval in the advancing direction of a material to be folded, in a pressing device provided with said pair of M-and W-shaped folding tools engaging with each other. CONSTITUTION:A pair of M-shaped folding tool 11 and W-shaped folding tool 12 are provided, so as to engage with each other in the direction opposite to a pair of folding tools 9, 10, at a position a prescribed distance far from the position of said pair of M- and W-shaped folding tools 9, 10, in the direction opposite to the advancing direction Y of the feed of a tape material (a) subjected to zigzag folding. The tape material (a) is sent in the Y direction due to the rotation of a feed driving roller 21 in the X direction. A tape cutting device 25 is provided for cutting the tape material (a) in the prescribed length, and direction regulating guides 28, 29 are changeover type guides for properly inserting the folds of the tape material (a) into the right and left sides of a box (b). |
