PURPOSE:In a system for converting the sheet carrying direction between two directions, to simplify the structure by facing a pair of carrying member holding sections selectively against inlet of each carrying path to convert the sheet carrying direction. CONSTITUTION:A carrying roller 19 is fixed on shafts 31, 32 which will rotate around a shaft 33. Consequently gear 37, and sprocket 38 can rotate at fixed position continuously. A solenoid 39 will roll said roller 19 up and down where upon turning on of solenoid 39, a sideboard 34b is lfted and rotated upward around the shaft 33. Here the nip of carry roller 19 will direct upward to carry the paper in arrow direction A. Upon turning off of solenoid 39, the sideboard 34b will rotate downward around the shaft 33 to direct the nip of carry roller 19 downward to carry paper in arrow direction B. |
