PURPOSE:To transmit display data to a display circuit in a terminal equipment without using processing unit by dividing data to be transmitted from a center side device to the terminal equipment and transmitting the divided data together with a control signal. CONSTITUTION:An 8-bit serial signal from the center is transmitted to a keyboard/display interface LSI1 twice in each 4 bits. A decoder 11 detects whether the transmitted data is the 1st or 2nd one. As the result of detection, the decoder 11 applies inversion Y0 to a latch 12 at the 1st data and inversion Y1 to a latch 13 at the 2nd data and each latch stores the transmission data temporally. At the 2nd data, an FF14 is set up and a Q output makes a counter circuit 16 start to count up through a counter controlling circuit 15. After counting up prescribed numbers, a write signal inversion WR is applied to the LSI1. Consequently, the latch signals of the latches 12, 13 are transmitted to data buses DB0- DB7 and the LSI1 drives a display circuit to make the display circuit execute prescribed display operation. |
