PURPOSE:To provide a composition having improved impact strength keeping the high heat deformation temperature of the base resin, by compounding a specific acrylic resin composition with a specific acrylic resin composition having three- layer structure. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is prepared by compounding (A) an acrylic resin composition composed of 41-97.5mol% of methyl methacrylate, 0-5mol% of a 1-4C alkyl acrylate, 1-26mol% of maleic anhydride and 1.5- 60mol% of styrene and having the molar ratio of maleic anhydride to styrene of 1:(1.5-5), with (B) an acrylic resin composition consisting of (i) the rigid first layer of a methyl methacrylate (co)polymer having a glass transition temperature of >=25 deg.C and obtained by emulsion polymerization, (ii) the second layer obtained by the emulsion polymerization of a mixture composed mainly of an alkyl acrylate forming a copolymer having a glass transition temperature of <=25 deg.C by homopolymerization, and containing a polyfunctional grafting agent, and (iii) the third layer obtained by the emulsion polymerization of a mixture composed mainly of methyl methacrylate and forming a (co)polymer having a glass transition temperature of >=25 deg.C by homopolymerization, at a ratio (A:B) of 3:1-1:1.5. |
