PURPOSE:To make glass surface irregular to an ideal shape as a solar-cell substrate by bringing a substance, a surface thereof has irregularities, and glass and transferring irregularities onto a glass surface. CONSTITUTION:Pyramidal irregularities can be formed to the surface by etching a substance having a <100> face azimuth by an alkaline solution, etc. in single crystal Si, and ideal irregularities can be shaped to glass substrate itself when such irregularities are transferred to a glass surface. A laminated glass, in which high-temperature softening-point glass 1 having the softening-point temperature of 780 deg.C and a refractive index of 1.49 and low-temperature softening-point glass 2 having the softening-point temperature of 648 deg.C and a refractive index of 1.78 are laminated and which has a flat plane, is placed on single crystal silicon 3, the surface thereof is made irregular to a pyramidal shape in size of 5mum or less through texture etching, and a weight 4 is placed on the glass. When the whole is introduced into an electric furnace under the state and heated at the softening-point temperature or less of the high-temperature softening-point glass, the irregularities of single crystal silicon are transferred to a glass surface. A heating temperature and the weight of the weight may not be controlled precisely because of admitting a stopper 5 made of a metal at that time. |
