PURPOSE:To provide a method for production suitable for mass production by fixing tentatively core half sets and joining the core halves in this state. CONSTITUTION:Core half sets 11, 31 are disposed in such a way that the front gap forming surfaces 18 and coil windows 13 of the respective core half sets match each other, then the sets are pressed and butted by means of jigs 35. A laser beam is irradiated across the connection 15 of both core half sets in this state to weld both. Number 32 in the figure shows the welding spot. Both core half sets united tentatively to one body are disposed and sandwiched by reinforcing bodies 41, 41 having through-holes 40 corresponding to the coil windows 13 so that the coil windows and the through-holes are faced to each other. An epoxy resin is vacuum impregnated in the spacing between the core half sets and the reinforcing bodies and is heated to set. Number 42 in the figure denotes an adhesive material layer. The assembly is then parted to individual chips as shown by broken lines 50 and the surface to contact with a tape is rounded by polishing. |
