The exhaust gas is cleaned by being mixed with outer air and passed through a cooler (7) which has pipes (8) for coolant. The gas humidity content forms as condensate on the cooling pipes in such quantity that it maintains them clean from dust particles and improves their cooling ability. Cooling is assisted by a compressor-driven circulation unit.(1)
