PURPOSE:To store the starting energy in a flywheel device through a solenoid clutch by fitting an accelerator to the output rotary shaft of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A flywheel device 27 is connected to a flywheel 26 fitted to a crank shaft 25. The flywheel device 27 is constituted with a small gear 28 normally engaged with a ring gear 24, a rotary shaft 29 fixed to this small gear 28, a flywheel 30, and a solenoid clutch 32 fitted between rotary shafts 29, 31. After starting, the solenoid clutch 32 is energized, rotations of the small gear 28 are transmitted to the flywheel 30, which is accelerated to rotate at a high rotating speed due to the gear ratio between the ring gear 24 and small gear 28. In restarting, the solenoid clutch 32 is energized, the rotating energy of the flywheel 30 is transmitted to the small gear 38 and ring gear 24, and an engine 1 is started. |
