PURPOSE:To enable finishing work to be performed by the same electrode after its roughing work, by providing the work supporting bed of an electric discharge machine movably in the horizontal optional direction from the center and enabling an electrode holder to be revolved around the center in a horizontal sorface. CONSTITUTION:A work supporting bed 5 is provided in a machining tank 1 of an electric discharge machine movably from and turnable around the center in the horizontal optional direction, and an electrode holder 29 can be revolved around the center with a fine radius in a horizontal surface. After roughing a work W with an electrode 27 not being revolved around the center by lowering a ram R, insulating bushes 31 are replaced with those having a clearance between the bush and a guide pin 25, and pulley 35 is rotated to be driven, thus the work is finished while giving the electrode 27 revolving motion around the center with a fine radius. |
