In an easy-open can cap (A) with a ring pull tab (64) riveted in a small-diameter semicircular portion of a tear-opening portion (60) which is defined on the cap surface by a deformed ellipse-shaped score (58), a score (68) is formed perpendicular to the axial larger-diameter direction of the said tear-opening portion (60) and in the vicinity of a circular arc-shaped nose portion (66) of the ring pull tab, and further the score residual in a predetermined transitional area from where a second opening operation is started by pulling up the ring pull tab (54) after the small-diameter semicircular portion (58a) has been broken by an initial opening operation until where the second opening operation becomes stable, is made smaller than the score residual at least in the said small-diameter semicircular portion (58a). |
