PURPOSE:To obtain the titled device capable of preventing a green tire from being undesirably deformed, by a construction wherein one of a pair of expandable and contractable bladders clamping upper and lower beads of a green tire can be moved in a vertical direction relatively to the other. CONSTITUTION:The green tire G is placed on a base 41, and the bladders 24, 30 for the green tire feeding-in device are inflated to clamp respectively the beads of the green tire G. When the green tire clamping device is raised to an appropriate height, a rotary shaft for the feeding-in device is rotated to reverse the clamping device. Then, the green tire G is advanced into a vulcanizing press, the bladder 24 is contracted while lowering the upper bead clamping device of the press, and then the bladder 30 is contracted and lowered. |
