PURPOSE:To obtain a heat sensitive recording material having high sensitivity without scum adhesion to thermal head and efficient in stability during storage, by making a specific phenolic substance as developer together with leuco dye be contained into a coloring layer. CONSTITUTION:A coating fluid is prepared by dispersing and pulvelizing leuco dye (example: 3-diethylamino-6-methyl-7-anylinofluoran and the like) and phenolic substance (example: 4,4',4''-trihydroxytriphenyl methane and the like) (favorably, 1-10wt. times to leuco dye) of the formula as developer (R1 and R2 mean H and C1-3 alkyl) with a boll mill and the like making water dispersion medium. The aimed recording material is obtained by adding 10-20wt% (to all solid content) binder such as PVA and the like, dispersion agent, ultraviolet rays absorbent, antifoamer, etc., when necessary and by preferably coating them by 3-10g/ m<2> dry coating weight on a support such as paper and the like. |
