PURPOSE:To build up a structure of a size beyond the width of a dock by a method in which a marine structure with a platform a part of which is exposed is built up in a folded state in a dock, and the marine structure is moved onto the sea and extended and a deck is attached to the exposed portion. CONSTITUTION:A marine structure is built up in a dock in a manner that a part of the platform 2 is designed to be an exposure 10 without deck but with girders 11 only and both ends 110 and 111 of the girder 11 are combined into a folded state. The marine structure with folded and fixed girder 11 by a locking bar device 3 is moved onto the sea, the locking bar of the device 3 is pushed out, and the girder 11 is extended to its normal width. The locking bar is again fixed, a deck 12 is attached to the exposure 10, and then the locking bar device 3 is removed off. |
