PURPOSE:To always maintain a proper air-fuel ratio by suspending the processing for memorizing the correction information for each engine state during a prescribed delaying time for the engine operation state. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 24 controls air-fuel ratio by controlling the fuel injection amount of an engine, and a microprocessor 100 calculates the fuel injection amount. A digital input port 103 receives a signal of an air-fuel ratio sensor 22 and transmits said value into the microprocessor 100. The correction information for each engine state is memorized into an RAM 107, and is stored during the time when the engine operation state is in transition state or during a prescribed delaying time after transition from transition state to stationary state. Therefore, the delay of response in air-fuel ratio feedback control is compensated, and a proper air-fuel ratio can be always maintained in feedback control and open loop control. |
