PURPOSE:To simplify the sub-code generating operation by omitting the operation of a recording head mark key at the start of an initial main code, at the marking mode in various modes related to the sub-code. CONSTITUTION:When the making mode is selected by a mode key 301 of a display section 300 of a keyboard of a sub-code generating circuit and marking keys 201-206 are operated, the marking is recorded on a VTR tape in response to the PCM main code. Further, the program load mode, the cutting mode and the program check mode and the like forming automatically the read mode, the program save mode and the sub-code are attained. At the marking mode, the recording head marking is generated three seconds after the program-in key 201 is operated before the start of the 1st recording to the first recording of the first main code and no recording head key 202 is required to be operated. Thus, the sub-code generating operation is simplified. |
