PURPOSE:To obtain a simulated sunshine device which simulates natural light consisting of the direct sunshine and sky light by providing a diffusion-free regular transmission surface to a part of a diffusing transmission plate. CONSTITUTION:Emitted light from a light source is separated into light which strikes a test element 5 through the diffusing transmission part 3 of a transmission plate 2 and light which strikes the element 5 directly through the regular transmission part 4 of the transmission plate 2; the former is diffused light and corresponds to sky light, and the latter corresponds to the sunshine. When projection lamps are arranged at intervals R and distances in a figure are (a) and (b), the width of the transmission part 3 is preferably RXb/a or generally an integral submultiple of it, e.g. one half or one third as large of it. When the length of the diffusing transmission part is greater than RXb/a, there is a part that the sunshine illuminate, which is not suitable. When a single light source is used, the spread of the light source is taken as R. The ratio of the direct light and diffused light is varied by varying the area ratio of both light. Thus, the effect of the sunshine is tested on nearly the same condition as the outdoor condition. |
