PURPOSE:To improve sensitivity and color reproducibility by using a cyan coupler having a benzoyl amino group having fluorinated alkyloxy carbonyl or fluorinated phenyloxy carbonyl in the 2nd place of a phenol nucleus and having an acyl amino group in the 5th place. CONSTITUTION:A cyan coupler preferably expressed by the general formula is used. In the formula, Rf is alkyl or aryl substd. by at least >=1 fluorine atom, R<1> is an alkyl group, aryl group, R<2> is hydrogen, halogen, a monovalent org. group, COORf group, Z is hydrogen, a group that can be eliminated in the stage of coupling to the oxidant of a coloring developing agent, for example, halogen, alkoxy, aryloxy, heteroyloxy, alkyl thio group, n is 1-4 integer and if n is >=2, R<2> is permissible to be the same or different group. |
