PURPOSE:To provide a self-emulsifiable antifoaming agent which exhibits excellent foam suppressing property by consisting the same essentially of organopolysiloxane which contains an oxyalkylene group and an amino group-contg. org. group in its molecule and is expressed by a specific formula. CONSTITUTION:The organopolysiloxane which is expressed by the formula I and contains an oxyalkylene group and an amino group-contg. org. group in its molecule is used as an essential component in preparing an antifoaming agent. R<1> in the formula I is a hydrogen atom or a monovalent hydrocarbon group of 1-10 carbon atoms; G is an oxyalkylene group expressed by the formula II; X is an aminoalkyl group or acrylaminoalkyl group expressed by -R<4>NH or -R<4>CONH2 (R<4> is divalent hydrocarbon group); (a), (b), (c) are 0, 1, 2, 3; and a+b+c=3; (m), (n) are positive integers; 1 is 0 or <=100 positive integers. A in the formula IIis a monovalent hydrocarbon or the like of 1-10 carbon atoms; R<2> is a divalent hydrocarbon group of 3-10 carbon atoms; R<3> is a divalent hydrocarbon group of 2-10 carbon atoms, and (d), (e) are 0 or 1; (f), (g) are positive integers. |
