<p>A method of protecting keratinous material from attack by insects that feed on keratin and from feeding damage, which comprises treating the material to be protected with compounds of the formula <IMAGE> wherein each of R1 and R2 independently represents hydrogen, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, alkyl of 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkoxy of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or R1 and R2 in the ortho-position to each other together represent the methylenedioxy radical, and R3 represents hydrogen, cyano, -C 3BOND CH of -CH=CH2.</p> |
