PURPOSE:To enable a valve opening degree control device of a small-sized structure to control a closing valve in a wide range with a high degree of accuracy, by providing, in the closing valve of a carburettor, a valve drive device comprising a cam rotated by a control engine, a follower arm swing by the cam and a gear mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A gear 22 which is attached to the valve shaft 7 of a throttle valve 6 disposed in an intake-air passage A in a carburettor 1, is driven to rotate by means of a follower arm 24 abutted at its one end against a cam plate driven by a control engine 46 and as well a gear integral with the arm 24. The follower arm 24 swings about a pivotal shaft 23 as a pivotal point. Accordingly, even if a valve opening degree control device is a small-sized, the opening degree of a closing valve may be controlled over a wide range. |
