PURPOSE:To enable background compesnation in low cost, by respectively providing accessible emitting slits to a resonance line position of an objective element of a spectroscope and a wavelength position not containing absorbance line of a sepecimen matrix component in close vicinity thereto. CONSTITUTION:HCL shows a holographic cathode lamp for emitting the resonance line of an objective element to be detected by quantitative analysis and D represents a D2 lamp while a numeral 1 shows a sector mirror and lights from both light sources are alternatively incident to a spectroscope 2. When the emitting slit of the spectroscope 2 is constituted from a two-slit exchange system, a light detector P may be common because two slits are close with each other at an interval of about 2mm. at the positions on an emitting light path. By this two-slit exchange system, background compensation is enabled by an inexpensive single channel type apparatus. |
