Residual prods. from propylene polymerisation and co-polymerisation with other olefins, consisting of low mol. wt. polymers, atactic and syndiotactic polymers, are sepd. from the main prods. and heated in a mixer to a temp. between ambient and 200 deg.C in presence of crosslinking agent and opt. co-adjuvants. - Prods. are converted to a material which can be used in many cases as substitutes for rubber.
