发明名称 THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING METHOD
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase firmness to make it possible to avoid the generation of jamming, by a method wherein a non-information image recording part with a predetermined length is formed so as to be connected to an image information recording part to bring paper and a transfer film to an adhesive state and both of them are cut within the range of the adhered part or at the forward end position thereof. CONSTITUTION:In starting recording, a pulse motor 8 is driven through a driving part 11 by the sub-scanning signal S1 from a control part 14 while part 4 and a transfer film 2 are subjected to sub-scanning feed in a superposed state by a platen 7 and image signal recording is performed in correspondence with the image information signal S1 by a thermal head 6. When the image signal is finished, the non-information image signal S2 of an image signal generator 15 is outputted to a driving part 2 and a non-information image recording area AG is formed only over a predetermined sub- scanning length so as to be connected to an image information recording area AP to stop the driving of the thermal head 6. When the cut position S of the area AG reaches the position of a cutter 24, an electromagnetic clutch is turned ON to perform cutting and the superposed leading end is returned to a recording part 5. By this method, the superposed leading end is brought to the adhesive state to increase firmness and the generation of jamming can be avoided.
