PURPOSE:To obtain a hot air generator with favorably quick rising property for heat exchange by a method wherein ethylene glycol is employed as heat transfer medium so as to store the heat of an electric heater therein in order to release said stored heat at heat exchange portion at a dash, when necessary. CONSTITUTION:Ethylene glycol is filled as heat transfer medium in a tank 1. When the electric heater 7 is turned ON with a cock 8 closed, the ethyleneglycol in the tank 1 is gradually heated up to a predetermined temperature. When the time point to start the blast by means of a fan 12 is reached, the cock 8 is open so as to allow the heated ethylene glycol to rise through an ascending pipe 2 and, to flow via the heat exchange portion 3 through a descending pipe 5 and a tilting pipe 6 back to the tank 1 due to natural convection. As a result, the temperature at the heat exchange portion 3 rises quickly high, resulting in enabling to immediately obtain the warm air with a requested temperature with the blast by the fan 12. |
