PURPOSE:To construct an underground space without the need to drive sheet piles by a method in which a trench is formed according to the contour of an underground space, concrete is placed into the trench, a cylinder made of a corrugated material is settled into the concrete, and then the ground inside the cylinder is excavated. CONSTITUTION:Holes are connectedly excavated in order in given place of the ground according to the contour and height of an underground space to be constructed by means of an earth auger, etc., to form a cylindrical trench 3 as a whole. Concrete 4 containing soil, sand, and water-sealing asphalt water- proof material is then poured into the trench 3, and before setting reaction begins in the concrete 4, a cylinder 5 made of steel corrugated pipe is settled into the trench 3. After the concrete 4 hardens, the soil and sand inside the cylinder 5 are discharged, concrete 4 adhered to the inner wall of the cylinder 5 is removed, and pre-designed operations are made to construct the underground space. |
