PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic image developing toner properly fixable by the contact heat fixing system and not causing stains on the reverse side, by incorporating a binder made of a cross-linking resin and a cross-linking agent reacting with this resin. CONSTITUTION:A resin contg. a cross-linking resin capable of being cross-linked by action of a cross-linking agent when heated to 130-250 deg.C is used as the binder of a toner, and said agent is added to said binder by 0.5-20wt% of said resin, and further, a colorant, and when needed, additives are incorporated to obtain an electrostatic image developing toner. As the cross-linking resin to be added to the binder, a resin having a double bond between carbon atoms is preferable, such as a resin having a diene component. e.g., butadiene etc., or unsatd. polyester. |
