PURPOSE:To recover automatically a system from troubles with a simple constitution without manual operation, by providing a substituting address switch in each station. CONSTITUTION:The communication address number of the station of each node (b) itself is set in the first address switch C1, and the communication address number of another station which is arranged at a relatively short distance from the node (b) and can be substituted is set in the second address switch C2. With respect to stations connected to a local area network, there are many cases where plural receiving stations of the same type exist in the same office, and there are many cases where plural offices where receiving stations of the same type are installed are placed at a short distance from one another. In these cases, even if a certain receiving station is faulty, the purpose of data transmission is achieved by making it possible to transmit automatically data to another receiving station placed at the shortest distance from this receiving station. |
