PURPOSE:To shorten the time of placement of drain materials as well as to enable the placement work to be used even in the sea area by a method in which a drain material being rolled is sent out and continuously placed on soft ground without being cut off under the condition that it can go along both sides of a mandrel. CONSTITUTION:A long drain material 6 wound around a roll 2 is pulled out and pressed into soft ground E by a mandrel 3 under a condition that both sides of the material 6 are held by a roller 5, a slakening roller 7, and the mandrel 3 and also the material 6 can go along both sides of the madrel 3. The mandrel 3 is pulled up by leaving the drain material 6 under the ground, and a placing machine is moved to the next placing position for the drain material 6 which is placed to soft ground E without cutting off the material 6 by the same procedure. |
