PURPOSE:To sharply improve the control effect in case of knocking generation by starting control from the optimum correction value obtained in the preceding time, when the operation state in which control for preventing knocking is carried out is restored again. CONSTITUTION:If knocking is generated in an engine, the ignition timing is delayed once up to the value with which knocking is not generated (Step 32). After that, advance to a trace knocking value is performed by feedback control, and said advance value thetaK is stored into a table (Steps 33, 28, 29, and 34). When the same operation state is restored again, feedback control is started from the optimum ignition timing which is obtained in the preceding time. Thus, the control efficiency can be improved sharply in case of knocking generation. |
