PURPOSE:To reduce a bearing loss and decrease the temperature of the bearing by a method wherein a part of the surface of the bearing, which is corresponding to the opposite side of the load of the journal bearing supporting a crank shaft in the radial direction thereof, is cut out. CONSTITUTION:The part 6a, corresponding to the opposite side of the load of the crank shaft, is notched in the sliding part between the crank shaft 6 and a main shaft liner 8. The notched part 6a is located at the opposite side of a pressure distribution P on the bearing, which is generated by a resultant force F applied to the main bearing liner 8 from the swinging scroll 2. Accordingly, a distance between the part of the shaft, which is corresponding to the opposite side of the load of the journal bearing and sliding on the bearing, and the bearing may be widened at all times, therefore, shearing force of the film of the oil, due to a relative slip between two surfaces, may be decreased. |
