CONTINUOUS DEHYDRATOR FOR SLUDGE

PURPOSE:To provide a continuous dehydrator for sludge which is designed to feed smoothly the sludge and to avoid discharging of the undehydrated sludge by disposing plural chute pieces having a peritrochoid curve and a rotor so as to face to each other elastically. CONSTITUTION:A side housing 7 provided with a stationary gear 6 at the center is mounted on a mounting base 5. A pair of eccentric cams 9 of the same phase are provided to a rotor shaft 8 at the center of the fixed gear 6 and a rotor 10 is fitted to the cams 9. When the shaft 8 is rotated, the rotor 10 rotates at every rotation of the cams 9. The rotor 10 revolves by 1/3 turn at every one rotation and discharges sludge during this time. The entire stage from compression until dehydration is completed during one revolution. Divided plural chute pieces 12 having the curved surface of nearly a peritrochoid curve operate freely retreatably according to the dehydrating volume for the sludge.
